The Birth of a Dream, Stemming from a Need
I had many daydreams of my future before, but this was so much more than a daydream. It was crystal clear.
Each time the vision returned, as more details of the silhouettes began to take form, I would just smile.
The Steel Horse Sisterhood Summit had not yet taken on the name, but as a vision, the Summit had begun a long, long time ago.
The vision dims a bit and as I pick up the "Freedom Glide" and ease back out onto that 2-lane highway crossing Arkansas as I work my way towards Little Rock, and move through the countryside.
I was not the same. Once again I had changed.
Inside my head, as the scene was continuing to form, not just as a casual daydream but as a crystal clear event of the future, I intuitively knew that the vision would come to pass.
I could feel the joy and happiness of the women who have come together, the satisfaction and approval of their partners who have made the journey with them and the accomplishment of every sponsor, manufacturer and volunteer who have helped to make the event a success.
Today, as I walk down memory lane, the date is Friday, March 28th, 2014. Four weeks from today, 100's of women will gather in Denver, Colorado to take part in a history making event. The 2014 Steel Horse Sisterhood Summit.
The Sisters of the Steel Horse Sisterhood will be arriving to this unique event for women centered around the shared passion of motorcycling.
